Dr. Tao Wen is now an associate professor at the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Central South University of Forestry and Technology in Changsha, China. He got his bachelor degree of Computer Science and Technology in 2006 at China University of Geosciences in China, master degree and Ph. D. degree of Agricultural Engineering in 2009 and 2012 at South China Agricultural University in China. He conducted research in the Laboratory of Biosensors and Bioinstrumentation as a visiting scholar from August, 2016 to August, 2017 with distinguish Prof. Yanbin Li in the department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas, US. His current research interests focus on rapid detection technology including e-nose, e-tongue, e-vision and biosensor for agricultural and forestry products quality and safety.
